Annual Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival
Auction, special exhibits and a great country atmosphere featuring 40 participating folk artists with over 1500 new works offered for sale. Architecturally unique and alive with colour, the fishing port of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia is the perfect setting for the annual Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival! When you bring together forty folk artists and more than 1,500 pieces of new artworks the resulting atmosphere is nothing less than spectacular!

Boxwood Music Festival
Lunenburg, Nova Scotia becomes the traditional flute playing center of the world during the last week of July each year as top performers, teachers, scholars, makers, students and enthusiasts gather for a week to learn and share. Many of the musical traditions explored at Boxwood typically employ simple-system wooden flutes, but it’s not required that you bring one – nor is it necessary for you to even know how to play one! Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival
In 2010, the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival celebrates 25 years of presenting traditional and contemporary folk music that hightlight the culture and history of Nova Scotia and other North Atlantic regions through music, dance and other forms of artistic expression.
